Its whales and more whales in this coastal town of SA, if you have come to see them then this is the place for you. Take a shuttle from the Baz Bus or drive down if you have your own car. Hermanus Backpackers is friendly with great hosts and comfortable rooms. They are great at entertaining you during your stay so you can either just relax around the place and enjoy their great facilities or wonder around the town and onto the cliff tops for whale spotting. If you are up for a bit of adventure check out the shark cage diving or a boat trip out to sea. There is lots to do around this friendly backpackers so just relax your days away.

Take a very very long beach and add a great little place to stay at the end. Cape Agulhas is the most Southern point you will reach on your trip around SA, its also a windy lonely piece of rock... but don't let that scare you away because they offer lots to do. Take a trip out to sea to view whales or take a stroll down to the beach for a relaxing walk. This friendly backpackers is well equipped with clean rooms and a great entertainment area. they also have self catering rooms if you are planning on taking the family. Take a dip in the pool on warm days or have a drink under the veranda.

If you are looking for some adventure and a great half way stop between Cape Town and PE then this place will make you feel at home. There is always a warm welcome in this town and that is what you can expect from your hosts. They have lots of adventures around every corner so ask about horse rides or white water rafting. The town feels like its been there forever so take a walk down the streets, there is a great little restaurant near the far side of town.
