Accommodation and Facilities

All our rooms are en-suite and with a choice of either double-rooms or dormitories to accommodate singles, couples or small groups and all meals (breakfast, lunch packs and dinner) are available on request - we are able to cater for your every need.

There is a self service braai (barbeque) area for those who like to get together around the fire after a day of adventure taking in all there is to offer along the West Coast.

If you are travelling without a car please take note that the Elwierda bus service runs a daily link between Cape Town train station and Saldanha at very reasonable rates.

Activities in the Area

West Coast National Park is a nature reserve where tourists can hike, see an amazing array of flowers during the flower season or just go game watching.

The harbour offers yachting and diving as well as a delightful restaurant that serves fresh seafood.
The famous Club Mykonos with its casino is within easy reach of the Backpackers.
